THANKSGIVING 2015. EL CARMEN SCHOOL

Hello Orchard Hollow School,

Last week we celebrated Thanksgiving and we learned how, when and why this day takes place.
Finally, we represented the origins of this festivity.

Here you have some pictures of the school decoration and our representation.

  1. How did you celebrate Thanksgiving? I spent the day with my wife and children at my wife's mothers house. We also celebrated with other family members and friends, 22 people total.

What did you eat? We ate turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans, cranberry dressing and gallons of gravy!

Do you usually have presents on this day? Usually we don't pass out presents on this day, we think that spending time together is a great gift!

  2. Hello, students!
I was really lucky this year to spend my Thanksgiving with my family. We were together to share food and laughter. We enjoyed watching the Macy's Thanksgiving parade together on TV. We all liked watching the huge balloons. Of course, we also enjoyed football games. It's fun cheering for our favorite teams.

For dinner, we had turkey and pasta. With all the side dishes, I was one stuffed person! We even had three types of pies. We had pumpkin, lemon, and pecan. Yum! The dogs in our house even had a little treat.

We don't usually pass out presents, but everyone brings food. That is a great gift for me!

Keep writing and sharing your great stories. The world wants to know about you and your learning!
