FOOD AT SCHOOL. EL CARMEN SCHOOL

Hello Orchard Hollow School,

We have been reading everything you did on Thanksgiving Day. It is very interesting we have the opportunity for learning all these things. We hope you find what we write interesting too!

Here you have some pictures of us eating at school. Not all the students eat here, some of them go home and they have lunch there. The children who stay, go to the dining room from 14 to 14:45 approximately. Later, they have some time to play in the playground before their parents come.

We have seen that in your school you can choose what you want to eat. Here we cannot choose, there is a different menu everyday and we cannot change it. This way we get used to eating everything, even the things we don't like. Today we have eaten soup and  chickpeas were our second course. Our dessert was yoghurt.

As you can see, the organization of the tables is very similar to yours but we don't use trays.

Hello Orchard Hollow School,

We have breakfast at home before coming to school but during the break time (from 12 to 12:30) we have a sandwich, juice, some biscuits... here.

We have recorded some videos where we explain the breakfast we brought to school today.
